House Rules of the Ball

Terms of use for this Funna catalogue site Part of the Funna wardrobe of princess dress costumes.

Short version: this is an information site about one brand's dress-up range. Read it, use it, do not mistake it for a shop.

What this site is

A catalogue of Funna costumes, assembled and described by one person. Product names, prices, sizes and availability are copied from public listings on the day the page is built. They are provided for comparison and will go out of date between rebuilds.

What this site is not

It is not a shop. No orders are taken here, no payments are processed, no stock is held and nothing is shipped from this address. Every purchase happens on the retailer's own listing under that retailer's terms, and any contract that results is between you and them.

Accuracy

I take reasonable care and I still get things wrong. Prices change, listings are edited, sizes sell out. Nothing on this site is a guarantee of price, availability, fit, colour or suitability for any particular purpose. Check the live listing before you buy, especially for anything size-critical.

Safety

Costumes are not protective clothing. Keep long hems, capes and wig fibre away from open flames, candles, cooking and heaters. Small accessories are a choking risk for very young children and should be supervised. Follow the care instructions on the garment label rather than any general advice on this site.

Content

The written descriptions, guides and page text here are mine. Product photographs and quoted customer reviews belong to their owners and appear here to describe the products. If you own any of that material and want it removed, write to the address on the contact page and it will be.

Links

Buttons on this site open listings on a third-party retailer in a new tab. I do not control those pages and am not responsible for what they say or do.

Changes

These rules can change when the site does. The version on this page is the one that applies.

Where this sits among the Funna princess dress costumes

I collected these cards one listing at a time, because the sizing on a princess dress for girls is never the everyday sizing a parent expects. Each entry is designed to answer the two questions that actually get asked before a birthday: will the costume fit, and what is in the box. How beautiful the photograph looks, and how the skirt feels when it runs across a floor, come second.

Give a child a gown and she will not simply wear it; she will pretend in it. She explores a kingdom of her own making, appoints herself queen, and tries on a personality for the afternoon. Dress-up play is the cheapest imagination there is. Halloween and birthday parties get the photographs, but the enchanted, magical hours happen quietly and far more often.

This wardrobe carries no ads and is run by one person, which is why styles can take a week to appear and a day to vanish. Find the right size, have fun, and trust imagination to supply the rest of the kingdom.
